Konstantinos graduated from the Law School (L.L.B.) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2016 and continued his studies abroad obtaining a Master’s Degree in Maritime Law (L.L.M.) from the University of Southampton in 2018, for which he was awarded the Dean’s List Award for Outstanding Performance (Distinction) on his dissertation topic. He continued his studies for the MSc in Banking & Finance Law Programme at the University of Piraeus (2021-2022 Academic Year).
Since he has studied law in two different jurisdictions (Greece and English) and legal systems he has had the opportunity to collect valuable experience in both civil and common law practices. Since his L.L.B. degree he has worked for respectable legal offices in both Thessaloniki, Igoumenitsa and Athens for Rokas Law Firm, AIG Europe S.A. (Greek branch) and Athens Exchange.
Konstantinos Ntallas is responsible for:
• Advising clients in relation to the regulatory and tax framework of cryptocurrencies in Greece.
• Due diligence on insurance companies, telecoms, financial, corporate, contract and tax law. Dealings with regulatory issues in the fields of insurance, energy, telecoms, corporate, tax & accounting, banking & finance law and GDPR.
• Advising clients on the regulation on markets in financial instruments (MiFID II, MIFIR), on market abuse (MAD II, MAR), on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT) and on OTC directives, central counterparties and trade repositories. Drafting contracts between investors and Members/MarketOperators in the Hellenic Energy Exchange (HEnEx) and drafting agreements between investors and clients for equity crowdfunding purposes.
• Drafting of due diligence reports and provision of legal advice and support to 3 major investors from UK and Germany in M&A deals involving the acquisition of companies that have been designated as Strategic Investors for the development of photovoltaic installations.
• Formulating and maintaining legal documents regarding the facts and legal basis for claims while dealing with numerous cases.
